Here are some slides to an internal talk I gave on the whole embedded DevOps problem. I’ll have a lot more to say on this subject over the next couple of weeks, and at a talk I’ll be giving at AgileDC on October 24, 2016, but hopefully these slides will get you thinking. The key concepts here are:
- Hard problems don’t have easy answers.
- Git Flow still works but you have to integrate!
- Expect was a surprisingly effective deployment tool.
- Plan to scale, scale to succeed.
