Agile Coaching

Many organizations are now familiar with the agile development concepts and have some understanding of the benefits to be gained through adoption. Coveros coaches have years of specific experience guiding organizations as they pilot and eventually adopt agile development in their organizations.   • Coveros does not hire full-time coaches. Our coaching engagements are staffed with seasoned project managers and engineers that are primarily focused on building and delivering software for customers. The experience they bring your team is grounded in the realities of today's tools and the pressures of real-world business constraints.
  • Coveros coaches are embedded with your team. The typical agile coach stands behind your development team offering guidance on the process, but little in the way of hands-on delivery. Our coaches stand in front of your team and actively drive the process. Our engineers deliver code and our project managers deliver plans and requirements.
  • Coveros enters with the exit in mind. We understand that companies want to become self sufficient as soon as possible, and expect to invest in coaches for no more than three-to-six months. The problem we've seen is that teams understand the process after these engagements, but are prone to experience skills atrophy and regression to the norm once the coach is removed.
